Olivia Zeng's painting, Remember, won the first-place award in the national Royal Canadian Legion Poster Contest in 2016.
The Royal Canadian Legion invited Olivia and her father Uncle Zeng to Ottawa to receive the award and scholarship.
At the awards ceremony, Olivia made a short speech to thank the Royal Canadian Legion, its president, and other officers.
Olivia received congratulations from an officer in the Royal Canadian Legion.
On November 11, 2016, Olivia was one of four representatives for all Canadian youth at the Remembrance Day ceremony in Ottawa. The ceremony was broadcast by CBC News in its Remembrance Day Special.
At the ceremony, David Johnston, the Governor General of Canada, led other Canadian officials and the youth representatives to pay respects to those who made sacrifices for Canada.

About Raymond Zeng
Uncle Zeng's son, Raymond Zeng, has been a passionate pianist and composer since a young age. At the age of 12, he composed The Coquitlam Song, which was performed by elementary, middle, and secondary school choirs across the city of Coquitlam at the 2010 Olympic Torch Relay. He has since won awards in national and international piano competitions, including first place in the North West International Piano Duo/Duet competition and first place in three British Columbia province-wide piano competitions.
